The Ukrainian Security Service (SBU) announced Sunday that Russian “strategic bombers are burning en masse,” after it launched “a large scale special operation aimed at destroying enemy bomber aircraft.”
Around 41 of Russia’s planes located at four separate air fields were allegedly destroyed in the attack, including some bombers with nuclear capabilities.

According to military sources speaking with the press, Ukraine used artificial intelligence to assist with the operation and planned it out for over a year.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is reported to have personally overseen the “extremely complex” strikes
AP spoke with a Ukrainian military official who revealed the first-person view drones were smuggled into Russia, placed in mobile wooden houses and launched from there.
“Later, drones were hidden under the roofs of these houses while already placed on trucks. At the right moment, the roofs of the houses were remotely opened, and the drones flew to hit Russian bombers,” the source said.
Russian citizens reportedly began physically climbing into suspicious trucks to try and prevent the drones from launching once they realized what was taking place, with one video footage online showing a vehicle exploding.
Russia was also hit by a pair of explosions that caused two bridges to collapse and two trains to derail over the weekend, killing seven civilians and injuring dozens more.
Mainstream media and pro-Ukraine social media accounts are celebrating the assault as “brilliant” and something out of a James Bond film.
Last week, the press condemned Russia for placing thousands of troops on the Ukrainian border in preparation for a massive new offensive while ignoring reports of an assassination attempt on Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The massive escalation comes just one day ahead of peace negotiations scheduled to take place between the warring nations in Istanbul, Turkey.
President Trump was reportedly not informed about the huge attack, and the timing of the bombardment appears as if it was meant to intentionally disrupt any potential progress towards a peace deal.
